houseandwhips.com - Ariana DeBose has been outed as a Zionist recently. It turns out that the actress made a post in support of Israel and it's only coming to light now after there was an outpouring of support for her after she was referred to as one of the "actors who think they are singers" as a joke. Now, people are like, they don't care for the disrespect Ariana DeBose got because she is a Zionist.
Ariana DeBose is one of the most top-notch performers out there. She is extremely talented. She is a triple threat who can sing, act, as well as dance. She is gifted through and through and has been proving her mettle from her early days. She delivered in her Broadway debut in Bring It On: The Musical and continued to show her talent with her roles in Motown: The Musical and Pippin. She was one of the original ensemble members of Lin-Manuel Miranda's musical Hamilton from 2015 to 2016. In 2018, her performance as Disco Donna in Summer: The Donna Summer Musical earned a nomination for the Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical.
Ariana DeBose has also made an appearance in the Netflix musical comedy film The Prom and the Apple TV+ musical comedy series Schmigadoon!. She notably played the role of Anita in Steven Spielberg's musical film West Side Story, for which she won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. She has also won a British Academy Film Award and a Golden Globe Award. In other words, she's extremely talented and accomplished. But did you also know that she's a Zionist? Yeah, she's losing some of the love and support she earned with her talent after her Zionism surfaced on the internet. Let's talk about that!
Is Ariana DeBose a Zionist?
Ariana DeBose (@arianadebose) has been outed as a Zionist and the accusations of Zionism have sort of undone all the respect and support she earned with her hard work and talent.

In the latest instance of "the internet always remembers," DeBose's stance against Palestine in the Israel-Palestine conflict has resurfaced. It's not like it was ever hidden because as it turned out, she very publicly made a post in support of Israel some time back but it has only come to light after there was an outpouring of support for her regarding a joke that was made at her expense in a recent award show. That Ariana DeBose is a Zionist has been exposed on a wider scale.
So, what happened was that, as the nominees for the Best Song for the Critics Choice Awards were being announced by Bella Ramsey and Anthony Ramos, the former read a scripted joke wherein she categorized Ariana, along with Jack Black and Ryan Gosling, in a list of "actors who think they are singers" and she, who is an original Hamilton ensemble member and Academy Award winner for West Side Story, was not thrilled. But how did that lead to her being outed as a Zionist, you ask?
Well, Ariana DeBose took to Instagram Story to say that she didn't find the joke funny and she received a lot of support. And that's when some Pro-Palestinians exposed her Zionism which countered the unanimous support she was getting. As it turns out, she stands for Israel and I don't know how it went under the radar when she made a post voicing her support for Israel but it did and it has only resurfaced in the latest unfolding of the events. Technically, she had already "outed" herself as a Zionist and it's nothing new.

In an Instagram post she made on October 11, 2023, she voiced her concerns for the victims of Israel (and Palestine as well but just as sort of a footnote). She wrote,
Witnessing the horrifying terrorist attack on Israel and the subsequent suffering and discourse over the last few days has been nothing short of heartbreaking. It is very clear that Hamas' sole intention is to bring annihilation and paralysis to Israel & the Jewish people. They have made that crystal clear. It is only right to respect the very real and generational fear that so many Jewish people are feeling today.
This post of Ariana DeBose cemented herself as a Zionist in the eyes of Pro-Palestinians's eyes. She also attempted to show concern for Palestinian people but that fell flat because, in a post that was mostly about Jewish people, she only mentioned the Palestinian people once, as if to counter the claims of Zionism that she knew would come her way. In regards to Palestine, she wrote,
It is also clear that Palestinian people are not represented by Hamas. Terrorizing innocent people does not lead to liberation. It is devastating to see both Israeli and Palestinian people bear the repercussions of these terrorist actions.
After her Zionism resurfaced, Ariana DeBose quickly lost the support she had going for her about that joke at the Critics Choice Awards. Many pro-Palestinians said something along the lines of, "I don't care about the disrespect she (Ariana) is getting because she's a Zionist." So, that's that!
