Bebe Rexha’s Weight Gain Journey: Bebe Revealed Insecurities About Her Body!

The 32-year-old, Bebe Rexha (@beberexha) has emphasized body positivity throughout her career. However, the same singer felt insecure about her body after she underwent weight gain

Bebe had opened up about her gaining weight and struggling to feel comfortable with her body in a candid TikTok video.

In 2019, Bebe criticized fashion designers for refusing to dress her for the Grammy Awards because she was a size 8. Bebe Rexha went viral on TikTok earlier this year after sharing a lingerie-clad video in which she claimed, “I’m a horrible b&&&h no matter what my weight” and pushed people to “normalize 165 pounds.”

On Tuesday, December 28, 2021, Bebe posted a new TikTok video, Honest update, where she expressed her feelings about her weight gain and said she was the heaviest she had ever been and she doesn’t feel comfortable sharing the weight because she would be too embarrassed to reveal it.

In the TikTok video, Bebe Rexha became emotional and stated:

It’s not just about that. I feel disgusting you know like in my own body. I haven’t been posting as much because I don’t feel good in my skin and when I don’t feel good, I don’t want to post and that’s honestly the reason why I haven’t been posting in the last year or so as much as I used to.

Bebe added all the body positivity that stems from her was probably a place of hurt and confusion and she had lost confidence to help herself or how to love herself.

After seeing this video, her fans were shockingly praising her for being honest and they felt it was the most real celebrity post they’ve ever seen. Many of them could relate to her weight gain admission and thanked her for speaking on behalf of all the women who are feeling or have felt the same way.

On the outside, someone may seem perfect and enjoying their life, but deep down they might be suffering. Even small comments made by us can lead them to depression or anxiety and body-shaming is something we should never do.
