She’s 73. And many noticed that she didn’t look as old as she is supposed to look at her age when she attended the 65th Grammy Awards.
Bonnie Raitt just won a Grammy Award for her songwriting in the song Just Like That, shocking everyone when she beat some big-name nominees. As she went up the stage to receive her award and made her acceptance speech, people couldn’t help but notice that she looked too good and young for her age. To be clear, she’s 73. And by young for her age, I didn’t mean that she looked 30 but too young for her 73 years, which started the plastic surgery speculations about her.
Imagine a 73-year-old woman minus plastic surgery. What would she look like? She would have wrinkles on her forehead, lines all over her face, crow’s feet around the eye, and loss of volume of the cheeks, thinning, and hence, the drooping and sagging. Even if she has the best skincare routine and eats healthy, if she chooses to age naturally and not have plastic surgery, she would look similar with fewer wrinkles and a little less fallen face.
Bonnie Raitt looks very different than that. The singer has no wrinkles on her forehead at all. She does have a few lines on her face. Just the laugh lines and lip lines. Her eyes crinkle. But that’s all there is to her aging. Other than that, she does not look like she has aged much. That cannot be natural. She had to have some plastic surgery as an anti-aging procedure.
No wrinkles on Bonnie Raitt’s forehead at all. That’s got Botox written all over it. Come to think of it, the I Can’t Make You Love Me hitmaker looks a little too smooth on the forehead. Not too smooth to the point of being shiny enough to reflect light, but a bit too smooth nonetheless. Also, her face has not fallen at all as it should have as she aged. But, no. Her face has not sagged down, which made many people think that she’s had a facelift. People can’t rule out plastic surgery when she looks like that.
Bonnie Raitt also is thought to have undergone an eyelid lift because, in some of her older pictures, her eyes look a bit smaller as her eyelids had drooped down whereas, now, her eyes look a bit wider than before.
