David Coulthard has not been able to evade plastic surgery speculations, which is very strange because he seems to be aging naturally. David Coulthard MBE is a British former racing driver from Scotland who later turned and is currently a presenter, commentator, and journalist. In his 15 seasons of Formula One between 1994 and 2008, he took 13 Grand Prix victories and 62 podium finishes. He started karting at the age of eleven and achieved early success before he moved on to car racing in the British Formula Ford Championship and the Formula 3000 series. He first drove in Formula One with Williams in the 1994 season succeeding the late Ayrton Senna.
He won two races in the 1997 season and finished 3rd in the World Drivers’ Championship in the 1998 season. During 1999 and 2000, he won five races before finishing 2nd in the Drivers’ Championship to Michael Schumacher in 2001. He won two times and he eventually left McLaren at the end of 2004. Next year, in 2005, he moved to Red Bull. He secured their first podium a year later. He retired from Formula One racing at the end of 2008.
Even after he retired from Formula One, David Coulthard continued working with Red Bull as a consultant and joined the BBC as a commentator and pundit for their coverage of Formula One. He returned to active motorsports in 2010 joining Mücke Motorsport in DTM and retired at the end of 2012. He also participated in the Race of Champions, finishing runner-up in the Drivers’ Cup in 2008, and he also won the competition in 2014 and 2018.
Since 2016 he has been working as a commentator and analyst for Channel 4 after they took over the BBC’s terrestrial television rights. In 2019, he was elected president of the British Racing Drivers’ Club (owner of Silverstone Circuit). Now, in the later stages of his career, he has started to be subjected to plastic surgery speculations. Though there are relatively less talk and whisper about him getting cosmetic procedures, it’s not non-existent. There are a few people who think he has gotten tasteful Botox, fillers, a facelift, and jaw implants.
It’s one of the strangest things that David Coulthard has been unable to avoid being subjected to plastic surgery speculations but in this era, maybe we shouldn’t take it as a surprise. Once he was asked if he would ever have cosmetic surgery, he said that he wouldn’t rule it out and that he colored his hair, which was the first stage of vanity. That means that if he didn’t find aging well, he would definitely get something done. That was back in 2007.
So, maybe, since then David Coulthard has had plastic surgery except he does not look like he had it. He has wrinkles and lines on his forehead and face and he looks like he is aging normally. Were people expecting to recede as he aged? He definitely didn’t get any plastic surgery on his jaw and chin. He had been blessed with that amazing facial structure.

Because he does not look like he has had it and one time, when he was asked, he seemed to joke and deflect. Remember in 2017, when he was asked if he had major surgery, he said that he had been very lucky and even joked that he was going to go for a penis reduction, but he was not sure how his wife would feel. Was he deflecting or just making jokes? Maybe just making jokes because there is nothing to deflect.
