Nevertheless, some people took to Quora to address Sissy Spacek’s possible nose job. In response to if she got a nose job, one person wrote,

I’ve always wondered this myself! Her nose angle is so acute (over rotated) that it seems like she must have had surgery way back in the day. Her result is not wonderful, IMHO, but she’s such a great actress, who cares. She rocks it anyway.

Another wrote,

It appears that she had her nose bridge, nose and tip narrowed. She is known for a narrow, up-turned, tiny tipped, aquiline nose. It appears it wasn’t always like that! I do not agree that her nose was shortened, it looks the same length. When it was narrowed, her nostril appear to have gotten wider.

Similarly, a third user wrote,

In my personal opinion, I think she did have one. Probably a long time ago, though. It would be cool and interesting to see her original nose.

Therefore, the majority of people are convinced that Sissy Spacek indeed got a nose job. However, we cannot make a conclusion as there is no proof of her going under the knife. And we do not really expect her to address it now. In case she does, we will surely get back to you.

Sissy Spacek’s Childhood & Early Struggle!

Mary Elizabeth Spacek was born in Quitman, Texas, on Christmas Day in 1949, to Virginia Frances and Edwin Arnold Spacek Sr. Her brothers gave her the nickname “Sissy,” and it stuck when she later performed on stage. She went to Quitman High School, where her classmates found her to be highly popular. She was even crowned ‘Homecoming Queen’ at the senior prom.

When she was only six years old, she gave her first public performance in a talent competition. Although it did not develop further, Spacek’s talent for acting was already apparent at that young age.

Her older brother, Robbie, died of leukemia when she was 17 years old in 1967. Sissy was deeply devastated by his death because they were so close. She became more brave as a result, and it showed in the characters she went on to perform in films.

She moved to New York in the same year that her brother passed away in the hopes of pursuing a singing career. She released a single named John, You’ve Gone Too Far This Time with the help of her cousin Rip Torn and his wife Geraldine Page, who were both actors.

After failing in the music scene, Sissy Spacek made the decision to try her hand at acting. She was able to acquire an extra position in the 1970 film Trash with the help of her cousin and his wife once more. She then went to Lee Strasberg’s Actors Studio in New York to enhance her acting abilities. She finally appeared on the big screen in Lee Marvin‘s cult film Prime in 1972. And the rest is history.
