She has only mentioned doing yoga and some other workouts.

Traci Melchor’s Weight Loss: The Television Personality Took a Break for Self-Care and Started Doing Yoga!

Traci Melchor (@tracimelchor) has undergone weight loss as you may have noticed from when she went live at the 2023 Oscars as one of the senior correspondents of eTalk. The physical transformation she had is not very drastic to speak of, but it’s very noticeable. You can tell she has gotten a lot slimmer than before.

If you look at pictures of Traci Melchor from 2020 when she first appeared on Canada’s Drag Race, you will realize that she has had a weight loss since then because back then, she looked much heavier than she does now. On comparing her recent photos to pictures from before, the difference might even look too significant.

She has sparked a lot of curiosity regarding how she lost weight and what she did to change herself. What diet plan did she follow? What kind of workouts did she do? Or did all that physical change just happen without her embarking on a weight loss journey consciously? Just the result of some changes in her life?

Well, it’s hard to tell because Traci Melchor has not acknowledged her weight loss yet. She has not mentioned what diet plan she followed, what workout schedule she stuck to, or if there were any. She has not revealed if there has been any change in her life that might have led to her getting skinnier.

All we know is that she had some mental health issues and then later, she got help for it. She took a break for six months. She went to therapy and made several changes to her life. She started doing yoga, she began meditating. She took time for self-care and that just might be the secret of her weight loss. Traci Melchor put herself first and everything fell into place for her.

For me, self-care is making sure you take care of yourself first. You can’t pour from an empty jug. Even when you’re on an airplane, they say you have to put your mask on first, before you help anyone else with their mask. Whether that’s me getting on the Peloton, doing a class, then doing a full facial and sitting in the bath, doing a little yoga. I always think a lot of people treat other people better than they treat themselves. Whatever that looks like for you, that’s what you should do because you have to take care of yourself. There are times where I’ve found myself in situations where my mental health has been challenged and I hadn’t been putting myself first.
