If you’re not aware, Tom Baker is in his late 80s, and staying healthy at that age is critical. He appears to be more vibrant and upbeat now. We can suppose he wanted to get rid of those additional few pounds in order to work a little longer.

It is not simple to be in the entertainment industry for more than 5 decades. He must absolutely take care of his body in order to focus on his career. And he may have followed a healthy diet and exercise plan to stay in shape.

On the other hand, there’s a potential that Tom Baker is afflicted with an illness. We can infer, given his age, that he is taking medication. Many disorders and drugs cause us to lose weight.

There could be medical reasons for the weight loss, but this is not always the case. Approximately 25% of patients over the age of 80 experience unexplained weight loss. As you get older, you start to lose lean body mass, including muscle and bone density.

As early as age 30, our lean body mass begins to diminish by a little more than half a pound per year. When you go on the scale, you might not see a difference because fat often replaces the lean weight you lost. It’s possible that Nichol is slimming down for the same reason.

However, all of the following facts are based on assumption as the exact details of Tom Baker’s weight loss remain still unknown. We’ll contact you as soon as we receive additional information from our sources.

Tom Baker From ‘Doctor Who’ Gives Ncuti Gatwa A Suggestion!

When given a picture of Gatwa, Baker expressed his admiration for him to the Radio Times. Later, with his trademark wit, he said, “A handsome young man! Marvellous cheekbones. These things are important as you get near to death.” He also had some surprising advice for Gatwa about taking over as one of Brish television’s most beloved characters. He explained,

Knowing anything is a bit dangerous when you play Doctor Who. It’s better to know nothing. And to be good-nature. The trick is to respond generously to other actors, which halves your task because you don’t have to be driving it all the time.

Gatwa has received a lot of love from the Doctor Who community since his casting was announced, and the actor credits it with giving him the strength he required for the part. He has also recently confirmed that his Fifteenth Doctor will appear in an upcoming episode alongside the very first Doctor, played by the late William Hartnell. He told,

We end up in the same scene together at some point. To see that history – now a Black man as the Doctor! It was just very wild.
