Whitney Port wasn’t bothered by her weight loss at the beginning but after stepping on a scale, she realized that she needed to prioritize her health.
Social media has erupted into a frenzy after noticing Whitney Port‘s weight loss. About a week ago, the reality star posted a photo of herself posing in a bikini which created chaos on social media among her fans because of how thin she looked. She had gotten incredibly skinny to the point of looking sick and unhealthy which worried her fans a lot. In the pictures, it looked like her bones were sticking out of her chest. In her recent appearance as well, it looked as though she was hunched and her bones were protruding from her back. Whitney Port’s weight loss seemed to be a very serious issue.

A lot of her fans took to social media to express their concern over The Hill alum’s slim figure and her health but she didn’t take them seriously at first and just thought that they were overreacting to her weight loss because they were not aware of what her diet looked like. But after her husband started to worry about her and brought her thin physique to her attention, she couldn’t help but ignore that.
Whitney Port came to realize that her weight loss was a real concern after her husband expressed his concern and not something that the strangers were spewing for no reason. It really hit her that she needed to prioritize her health after she stepped on a scale and saw what others had already seen. She then took time to figure out what was going on with her body and acknowledged that she hadn’t been thinking about her physical changes.
Whitney Port addressed her weight loss concerns via Instagram stories and said that the way she looked was not a deliberate choice on her part and she just got that slim because she did not make feeding herself a priority and was fussy about eating.
I eat to live, not the other way around. But after stepping on the scale, it hit me. It’s not something I strive for. I always feel hungry, but I just don’t know what to eat. It’s not how I want to look or feel, though. My excuses are that I’m too lazy to make feeding myself a priority or I’m too picky when it comes to taste and quality. I don’t want to set an unhealthy example, so I promised Timmy and I’ll promise you that my health will be a priority.

Just earlier this month, Whitney Port discussed her eating habits and rehashed her former restrictive diet she followed when she starred on The Hills from 2006 to 2008 on her With Whit podcast which gave insight to her fans as to what has led to this dramatic weight loss and her not being that concerned about it. She said that she ate only 1,000 calories per day because she thought she looked ‘a little pudgy’ on screen and that motivated her to lose weight.
The reality star then began to think about her weight in terms of how attractive she looked and in trying to control how she looked like, she began to lose weight and get skinny. Amid growing concerns about her weight loss, she admitted that she needed to define what attractive meant to her and if those things were actually healthy. She said that there was a lot of self-reflection going on and that she was working to eat healthy.
Whitney Port said that she was going to eat thoughtfully and put the right things in her body. It looks like she is taking her weight loss seriously and prioritizing her health.
I’m clearly not eating enough and that how I look right now does not look healthy. It’s not how I want to look. And I think that I complain a lot on here about my lack of energy. And I think that part of that stems from not giving myself what it actually needs. I want to eat thoughtfully. I want to put the right things in my body, and I also want to work out in a way that will build muscle. So, I’m on it, guys.
