Hollie Strano Was Arrested and Charged With Driving Under the Influence After Crashing Her SUV on Thanksgiving!
Hollie Strano was arrested last Thursday on Akron-Peninsula Road in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio after she crashed her car into a utility pole while police were pursuing her vehicle. WKCY reported that at around 7.30 p.m., Cuyahoga Falls police were notified of a possibly intoxicated driver.
Cops quickly apprehended Strano behind the wheel of an SUV and began tailing him. She allegedly drove at 70 mph in a 35 mph zone as she approached the Akron border. The department’s dashcam video shows dramatic footage of an officer pursuing her fast-moving vehicle before it crashes.

The SUV is seen drifting over the center line before veering in the opposite direction in the video. It eventually drives off the road and collides with a utility pole that has fallen in the middle of the road. A large light explosion is captured on the dashcam, followed by a wave of sparks emitted by the utility post. The cop swerves to avoid colliding with any of the debris that has now blocked his lane.
It is unclear whether Strano’s car remains upright throughout the crash, but the video clearly shows the vehicle spinning out and crashing into several pieces of scenery before coming to a stop after descending a small slope.
