Earle thinks it’s her openness about the cosmetic work she has had that has gotten her a massive audience. She’s not very far off there. It’s really refreshing to see someone not just reveal that they have had work done but also document it when they get Botox and lip injections and make genuine content about their looks. Alix Earle is very transparent about going under the knife and injections and it has worked in her favor.
Growing up, I saw a lot of perfection on social media, and would compare myself to it, a lot. And as I got older, I realized that that’s not real. Not that getting plastic surgery is great, but people should know that this is what people are having done, and this is not how people are naturally looking.
While Alix Earle may have confirmed that she had Botox and a nose job, she refuted the rumors that she had a nose job. Earlier this year, in August, she took to TikTok to settle it for once and all that she, in fact, contrary to what the social media users were speculating, had not had a rhinoplasty. She posted a 16-second clip in which she began by saying that she genuinely thinks she got a nose job in her sleep (So, she doesn’t remember having plastic surgery on her nose in her waking moment).
Alix Earle pulled a photo of her when she was younger, probably a teenager, in which the bridge of her nose was clearly wider than it is now. The gist of the clip was that her nose is very different now but because it just grew into her face and she learned makeup and contouring and not ’cause she got plastic surgery to narrow her nose. Look at my nose. Like, granted, I didn’t know how to use nose contour at the time. But it’s crazy how much your nose grows into your face. I’ve literally had boyfriends before and I’ve shown them young photos of me going through puberty. And they’re like, “I literally don’t believe you.” They ask my parents like, “Did she have a nose job?”
While some of her followers believed that her nose just grew into her face, she had revealed that she had been on Acutane three times to clear her skin so, some other people dubbed her nose ‘Acutane nose.’ The medication has been known to shrink the facial features of people using it and they think Alix Earle’s nose shrank because of the medication and not because it grew into her face. She may not have had plastic surgery but it definitely is not natural how her nose changed, is what they said.

Her revelation of having had just Botox, lip fillers, and a boob job is a denial of all other cosmetic procedures her followers suspect she has had and they suspect that she has done a lot more to her face. Given how dramatically she has changed from when she was 17, people speculate that she has had her entire face done. They especially suspect that Alix Earle has had upper blepharoplasty, buccal fat removal, and dermal fillers as well. Too much plastic surgery than she let on.
The Miami-based influencer took to TikTok to show off her glow-up and posted her new driver’s license photo alongside an old picture of hers from when she was 17 but that backfired on her because nobody bought that her transformation was her glow-up. They accused her of having gone under the knife to alter her face to fit into the beauty standards. They suspected that she was not being completely open about all the plastic surgery she had had.
But Alix Earle maintained that she has not had any procedures other than the ones she mentioned. In response to all the accusations, she posted another TikTok where she said,
I think that I got a face transplant in my sleep because what is going on here with the difference of these two photos. Puberty and some lip filler, man. These are just not the same people. For anyone wondering: puberty, lip fillers, and stopping the chronic side part.
For someone who seemed so open about plastic surgery, do you think that Alix Earle could be lying? I mean, just earlier this year, she spoke of her decision to undergo a boob job in 2022. She said,
If you’re paying to get something done, wouldn’t you want people to notice? Like, I paid all that money for a surgery and no one noticed anything different about me, I’d be pissed. This is also not me convincing anyone to get a boob job. You should love yourself. But if there is something you want to do for yourself, then do it. Don’t care about what other people think.
