We have loved Julia Louis-Dreyfus ever since we watched her play Elaine Benes on Seinfeld. And we continued to love her afterward when she went on to star in multiple hit shows. We have seen her when she was young and we now see her as she is old. Many people suspect that she has not aged gracefully and has had plastic surgery but has she? They argue that she looks different now but did they really expect her to stay the same and are all differences due to cosmetic treatments? I mean, she’s aged. That does change people.
Anyway, people are used to speculating about what plastic surgery a celebrity might have had because it’s normalized in Hollywood where youth and beauty are worshipped. Julia Louis-Dreyfus has admitted to feeling burdened by Hollywood’s youth and beauty-obsessed culture in the past but she’s been fighting it and she has come far since then. Now, she doesn’t care much about looking young and meeting the rigid standards of beauty.

The idea of getting elective plastic surgery does not appeal to her. Besides, the Seinfeld actress has learned to embrace her aging process. In fact, getting older is the secret to her body evidence, she said in an interview. She said,
Getting older [is my secret to body confidence]. It’s like, ‘Yeah, this is who I am, f—k off,’ as opposed to, ‘This is who I am, I’m sorry.’ You know, there’s something about getting older and owning who you are that is a good thing. When it comes to dealing with cellulite, the brunette beauty’s motto is, “I try to push the worry down and pull the Spanx up!”
Also, it helps that Julia Louis-Dreyfus has a wonderful husband who likes her just the way she is. In fact, he doesn’t want her to have plastic surgery and insists on that. Even if somehow Julia’s love for aging and self-confidence crumbles someday, she has Brad Hall to tell her and possibly save her from having plastic surgery arising out of the need to toxically stay young.
Maybe he’s the reason Julia Louis-Dreyfus hasn’t had a facelift yet. Maybe he held her back because she said that she wanted to get a facelift to fix the sagging skin and she hasn’t had plastic surgery yet. Or maybe it’s her fear of surgery. Either way, she has not had any kind of surgery.
