Rita Ora (@ritaora) has gotten incredibly lean and fit these days which has made it seem like she has undergone a weight loss. However, she was never fat or overweight such that she had any weight to lose. She just seems more toned and defined these days and is in the best shape today.
Last few years, Rita Ora has been serving looks like no other. We have been getting a lot of pictures of her from the gyms, just her killing it in a set of high-waisted leggings and a sports bra. And we can tell she has a hardcore workout routine and her gym sessions are turning out to be extremely fruitful. It shows on her lean body -that flat tummy and those enviably toned abs. And she likes to flaunt. Nobody’s complaining but everybody’s asking what diet she eats, and what workout she does. It could help them in weight loss as well.
Rita Ora’s core is beyond fierce and her body is now smoking hot. She looks slimmer now than she’s ever looked. However, it’s a fitness journey and not a weight loss journey. Rita Ora does her workout session under the supervision of her personal trainer Jono Castano and they make an incredible pair. Castano revealed in an interview that with Rita, he focuses on HIIT cardio training in the first half of the week, then core and upper body in the middle, and lower body at the end of the week. She also sometimes does weighted knee-hanging raises. No wonder she would have a weight loss compared to before.
The singer revealed that she relies on circuit training to have a fit body which could help with weight loss as well. She said that she usually works out for one or two hours depending on how much time she has. She does three circuits and repeats that three times. Mostly focusing on her thighs and her bum, she does a lot of squats and weight lifting. And she does one circuit of cardio. All of this has proven to be very effective.
However, it was not the same in the beginning. Rita Ora used to push herself until she felt sick but now she approaches it differently and now, it’s no longer a piece of work for her. She enjoys it so, she will continue to be fit as long as this process of fitness (and weight loss) will be continued. In an interview with Shape, she told that people don’t have to beat themselves up as long as they get in the workouts they need and they can do that only after they have taken their time with training. She also said that she also mixes things up with a yoga workout once in a while.
Now, as for her diet, Rita Ora eats balanced meals. Sharing her meal plan with Shape, she revealed that she eats two boiled eggs, asparagus, and half a cup of muesli with almond milk in the morning. For lunch, she has chicken or fish with vegetables and for dinner, she eats six to eight ounces of fish with vegetables and half a potato, plus snacks. She said that she doesn’t eat bread or sugar.
It’s not just cutting off carbs and sugar. Rita Ora also treats herself occasionally and relies on portion control for that. She said that she watches what she eats but she just cuts her portions in half. Like for instance, if she wants a burger, she just cuts it in half and eats half. Or she takes the bread off and eats only the burger. Or if she wants fries, she doesn’t have a burger to go with them.
Rita Ora is in control of her diet and gym sessions and she likes it more than ever. She never has to stay at a weight loss detox clinic now. She doesn’t have to outsource her fitness anymore like she did one time, a decade back. In 2013, it was reported that she had been staying at the Viva Mayr detox clinic in Austria, which was reported to be the most opulent weight loss and detox clinic in the world and pretty hardcore.
Guests there were said to be subjected to grueling exercise and chewing their food 30 to 40 times before swallowing and Rita Ora reportedly was given a rigid diet-and-exercise regimen, with a few deep-tissue massages thrown in for good measure. Now, she is the master of her weight loss and fitness journey.
