Heather Gay Openly Admits to Using Ozempic for Her Weight Loss!
Heather Gay‘s (@heathergay) recent appearance on Andy Cohen‘s late-night talk show, Watch What Happens Live, has left many viewers shocked with her lean appearance. As we know, she previously admitted to using Ozempic for weight loss in November. At the time, she told People she was taking the medicine and was pleased to have lost 5 pounds. I’ve been on it for a long time, but hadn’t really seen much results. And I haven’t had massive results, but enough for people to notice, which is great.

If you’re not aware, Heather Gay is one of many celebrities who have acknowledged using Ozempic since the controversial medicine first made headlines. The medicine is very commonly used in adults with type 2 diabetes to improve blood sugar levels, as well as to reduce the risk of serious cardiovascular events such as stroke, heart attack, or death.
However, in clinical trials, it has also been used to help with weight loss; after 30 weeks, patients taking Ozempic 0.5mg lost 2.6 kg more than the placebo group, while patients taking Ozempic 1mg lost 3.5 kg more than the placebo group. Yet, it is not officially licensed by the FDA as a weight loss medication.
Likely, Heather Gay also stated that since losing weight, people had treated her differently, and she found the softer behavior discouraging. The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City alum said, “You lose five pounds, people are nicer to you. I don’t know why. It’s just the way the world works and that makes me sad for women. But happy that I’m down five.?”
Heather’s disclosure came shortly after she was body-shamed by fellow RHOLSC actress, Mary Cosby for wearing a Gucci corset on the show. During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live, she was asked if she liked the look, which prompted her to make a surprising comment regarding the size of her corset. When she asked if the corset was even of the brand, Mary said, “I’ve never seen a corset in size 14.”

One wrote, “I’m sorry, who’s that?” while another observed that Gay seemed to have a completely new face. Likely, the third RHOSLC fan speculated that this could be why she has been posting less on Instagram. Commenters began listing the surgeries she may have undergone, including a facelift, endoscopic eyelid lift, laser treatments to her skin, new veneers, and even shaving down her jawline.
Some even speculated that she was using much better Botox and working with a great surgeon to get a more chiseled jawline and younger appearance. However, she has neither acknowledged nor denied having any new cosmetic procedures, but she has previously admitted to using Botox, lip filler, and Sculptra, which she described as a collagen stimulator. In 2022, she jokingly told Page Six,
So for someone that’s lazy and avoids self-care, I get every damn thing that comes across the menu. [It’s] preventative, to maintain cruise-control speed. You don’t have to accelerate or decelerate, but you have to maintain cruise control, which means maintenance. It’s all about maintenance!
