John Rzeznik rose to fame in the 1990s as the founder, guitarist, and frontman of the American rock band Goo Goo Dolls which was hugely successful. He is one of the greatest songwriters who was solely responsible for the band reaching the heights it did after he penned down Iris which became a soundtrack for the film City of Angels. It was a massive hit and critical success which changed the career trajectory of the band. The band has recorded 14 studio albums to date.
John Rzeznik was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame and was awarded the Hal David Starlight Award in 2008. I think that speaks of his talent in lyricism. Anyway, he was not just appreciated for his songwriting and his use of alternate guitar tunings in his songs but he was also loved for the way he looked, to put it mildly. He used to be as handsome as they come. People used to talk about his attractiveness in an unhealthy amount. Now, they talk about his plastic surgery that way.

He is said to have had Botox, fillers, a nose job, and a facelift and he might never confirm that but you know that denial about the procedures is never coming either.

Everyone would agree that John used to be one of the hottest musicians to ever have walked the planet in the ’90s when he rose to fame as a frontman of Goo Goo Dolls because he was exceptionally handsome, and let me remind you, an epitome of sex symbol. He was perfection and his masculine features looked as though they had been sculpted by God himself. Now, he’s ruined what God gave him with excessive plastic surgery.
What John Rzeznik put his face through is one of the most tragic things to happen to beauty because he has gone from being one of the most gorgeous men who had everyone, even men, salivating over him to being a creepy doll, which the more you look at, the more spooked you become. His face looks smoother than it did when he was younger and believe me when I say that’s not a good look for his face. It’s all because of plastic surgery and it looks like that.
The Goo Goo Dolls singer has had too much Botox and it’s the most regrettable thing he did. He should have chosen to age naturally because he has lost whatever it is that makes humans look like humans and he now looks like a mannequin who talks. He will not move his face and I’m sure it’s because he cannot and even if he could, he would not because he would be scared that any movement would make his face slide off. It’s already melting. Why did he have to have plastic surgery?

Do you know what the most painful part of his change is? It’s that he may not have looked like himself in his prime years, had he chosen to age naturally but it would have been fine because aging is the inevitable truth and he would have looked a million times better than he looks now but he chose the plastic way to desperately latch on to his youth and the change in from how he looked to the way he looks like now could have totally been avoided. John Rzeznik would have looked like an actual person if he had not had plastic surgery.
But for whatever reason, be it his being unable to resist the pressure to look youthful or be it his own vanity which didn’t allow him to look old, he underwent cosmetic procedures, and now, he looks like, as someone put it, “a meth-addicted Karen.” Every procedure he had went botched. He had too much fillers which you can tell from his textureless skin and that pillowy complexion. His facial has been stretched a little too tightly over his face and that’s probably why he can’t move his face. I bet John Rzeznik regrets his plastic surgery now.
He has never confirmed that he had those procedures but nobody’s looking to get confirmation from him because I repeat, his face, which is frozen and which he cannot move, speaks for it all. His face is the most powerful and unfailing proof of his decision to get plastic surgery. If he had thought of doing it, he should have done his research and chosen a good surgeon but I guess, mission failed successfully because look at what has become of John Rzeznik.
