houseandwhips.com- Pete Wicks has sparked plastic surgery speculations after he showed up with a swollen face on I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! He denied having cosmetic procedures, chalking his swollen face up to mosquito bites. He was also once accused of having an eye transplant, which too he denied. As far as Pete Wicks is concerned, he has never had any plastic surgery. He does not look like he has had any work done.

Pete Wicks is simply everywhere, isn’t he? He has been in everything. He’s the ultimate television personality. There’s hardly a reality show that he hasn’t been a part of. After The Only Way is Essex, he never stopped. He participated in Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls, he appeared on the sixth series of Celebs Go Dating, he cooked for Celebrity MasterChef, and he joined The Celebrity Circle with his friend Sam Thompson.

Pete Wicks also appeared on the fourth series of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins and he made guest appearances on CelebAbility, Celebrity Juice, Sunday Bruch, and Supermarket Sweep. Pete Wicks (@p_wicks01) was widely speculated to have gone overboard with plastic surgery after he showed up on a reality show with a swollen face. He was once accused of having an eye transplant.

So, Pete made his way to an Australian jungle which served as the set of I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! to support his best friend Sam Thompson, who won the reality show. He looked very happy as he reunited with his friend but did you know what else he looked like? He looked very puffy and abnormal which really got people talking about it. They speculated that he went overboard with plastic surgery.

Social media was filled with viewers who bashed Pete Wicks for getting too much work done. A lot of people mocked him for paying to look like that while some seemed to be genuinely concerned for him and asked him to refrain from getting anything done as he looked fine without it. Whether it was concern or ridicule, everyone seemed to believe that he had been overloaded with plastic surgery.

The television personality did look very strange with his swollen face. His unusual complexion made him look like a case of fillers gone bad. However, as Pete Wicks went on to explain, it was not because of any injections that he looked that way. He shared that his face had swollen because of mosquito bites and not because he had plastic surgery like there was no tomorrow. He took to Instagram to shut down the speculations,

Also you’ll all be pleased to know my face has returned to normal following the horrific reaction I had to the mosquito bites. They saw my face and thought it was an all you can eat buffet.

Pete Wicks, after recovering from his swollen face, shared a selfie of himself looking natural, and captioned the post,

Thankfully my face has returned to normal following the brutal and unprovoked attack by Australian mosquitos. Thank you all for your support during this difficult time.

Did Pete Wicks Have Plastic Surgery to Change His Eyes?

This is not the first time Pete’s been accused of having cosmetic surgery. In 2017 also, he sparked a huge discourse about cosmetic procedures when he shared a before and after collage of pictures on Instagram to show the difference and change in him 10 years apart. Because the before picture was an old passport photo where he had brown eyes (everyone knows he has baby blue eyes), people suspected that he had an eye transplant plastic surgery to change his eye color. Pete Wicks did mention in the caption,

New passport photo…wouldn’t even know it was the same bloke! 10 years and a lot more hair! (And for the record, no I do not wear coloured contacts! I have no idea why my eyes look brown in the first photo!)

However, people were not buying it and accused him of getting work done. Pete was not having it either and promptly posted another childhood photo where he did have blue eyes to prove that he definitely had not had plastic surgery to change his eye color. He definitely did not do anything to his eyeballs.

There you go for all you numbnuts that think I’ve had some sort of eye transplant! It’s just an old dodgy passport picture that have made them look brown….born with blue eyes!

Both times Pete Wicks has been accused of having plastic surgery, he has denied it.
