houseandwhips.com – Tom Cruise is widely believed to have undergone a nose job because the actor used to have a bit crooked nose when he was young whereas now, it looks much more refined and straighter. Tom Cruise, however, has explicitly denied having a nose job and all other plastic surgery procedures overall.

Tom Cruise is easily one of the most famous actors in the world who is recognized by people in every corner of the globe. He is the most successful action star there is, what with his movies grossing over $4 billion in North America and over $11.5 billion worldwide. He is one of the highest-grossing box-office stars of all time and also one of the world’s highest-paid actors. He is truly a legend, a real Hollywood icon.

Tom Cruise is not far behind in terms of critical acclaim either. He has to his name Honorary Palme d’Or and three Golden Globe Awards and he has also been nominated for an Academy Award four times. He has always had that star quality in him and you could tell that he was destined to be one of the greatest people that ever lived when he was young. Of course, not many people envisioned that he, out of all people, would get a nose job or any plastic surgery procedures for that matter but here we are. Anyway, let’s talk about his nose job!

Did Tom Cruise Have a Nose Job? What Did He Do To His Nose?

Tom Cruise (@tomcruise) has most likely gotten a nose job. He has always denied having rhinoplasty and every other plastic surgery but seeing how he has changed over the years, his denial feels like dishonesty.

Cruise broke out in Hollywood in the 1980s with leading roles in movies such as Risky Business and Top Gun. By the 1990s, he had the world captivated with him. Everyone was in love with him, his stunts, his movies, and his appearance. He was not exactly a typical Hollywood hunk but he had a rough edge to his look that people couldn’t get over. Especially, notice his nose. Old nose, that is. He seems to have gotten a nose job since then.

You can’t deny that Tom Cruise’s nose has changed after you see the comparison of before and after pictures for reference. He certainly had a… well, his nose was not exactly wider compared to now, but he sure did have a crooked nose with not much definition whereas now, he has a fine nose. There’s no other word to describe it more aptly. It looks fine and refined is what it is. It’s not hard to tell that the obvious change is the result of a nose job.

Even if you don’t see that Tom Cruise has a more shapely nose compared to when he was young, you sure cannot miss the fact that it visibly appears narrower at the bridge and slimmer at the tip as well. Like that’s so blatant. It’s no longer crooked. It’s perfectly straight but when you put his newer pics up against the old ones, you can see that there was a charm to his crooked nose that isn’t there after it was straightened. Anyway, the charm of his nose is not what we are here to talk about. Just, it does prove that he has had a nose job, right?

If you still aren’t convinced that the Top Gun star has not had plastic surgery to alter her nose, then let me share with you an expert’s opinion. Plastic surgeon Dr. Richard Westreich, who thinks that Cruise may have gotten cosmetic treatments worth $50,000, seems to believe that a functional rhinoplasty is one of the many procedures he has gotten. Look at how he explained that Tom Cruise has possibly gotten a nose job.

Looking at past photos of Tom, I thought that maybe he’d had the functional rhinoplasty in the pre-2005 era. This wouldn’t have been on the tip of his nose, but on the bony area. If you look at older photos, it’s just a little bit more crooked there. Around 2005, his nose starts to have a little bit more contour and begins to look straighter.

He also went on to explain that Tom Cruise’s nose job may not have been an elective surgery and that he might have done it for medical reasons.

Sometimes people might have airway surgery for breathing. If you have a deviated septum and your bones are crooked, they may repair the bones and leave the rest of the nose as it is. Even though they’re not taking down the profile or narrowing the tip, I don’t think Tom had any profile or tip work. I think that they straightened his bones, and that probably was part of making it look better. It also could have been part of a breathing restoration.

However, if Tom Cruise indeed had gotten a nose job to fix his breathing problems, he may not have felt the need to deny it. The fact that he denied having any plastic surgery, not just rhinoplasty, seems to tell that he does not want to admit to it.
